Not really being much of a fighter or a genius on the fly, I'm not sure how much I can help in this upcoming port. What I can do is ask the Admiral for supplies of basic survival gear to pass out to anyone interested. I'm talking backpacks, waterbottles, compasses, tents, freeze-dried food, rain ponchos, flashlights, emergency blankets, that kind of thing. I'm going to try to start putting together packages for any teams that might go out, and if you want one, please let me know.

There's nothing I'd like more than to return your abilities and let you loose in an advanced computer lab, because I know it would make you happy. That's not an option on board, but we can do the next best thing.

If you work on spending a set amount of time each day with me, or anyone else on board, I'd like to give you access to a computer monitoring an off-board network.

You wouldn't be able to change anything, but you'd have someone to talk to.

The idea is that any time you spend with people, I'll match for access to technology. Talk to a person for half an hour and you can have half an hour with the computer. I know you don't like humans much, but I think that's partly because you haven't fully puzzled them out yet. If you've got a goal to work for, it might not be so stressful to spend time around them.
